WSYX/WTTE-TV in Columbus,
Ohio
is looking for a part-time Writer/Video Editor to work in our News Department. We want a solid journalist with good storytelling skills.
You must have experience developing story ideas and gathering information from original sources.
Sound writing skills including grammar, sentence structure and story construction are required.
You must also be skilled with non-linear editing to produce video elements under deadline pressure. Effective use of audio and the ability to match audio and video to tell a visually compelling story is expected.
General hours are
4am-9am, Monday through Friday.
