Responsibilities Derive customer insights through predictive modeling and other analytics to support clients¿ business strategies or needs, to present findings to business partners, and to drive their business developments. Design and develop data-driven marketing initiatives to manage customer relationship, drive sales, enhance executions, and increase productivity. Conduct advanced statistical analysis and research to enhance predictive modeling capability, and to broaden and deepen the impacts on consumer marketing. Extract credit and retail transaction data, conduct exploratory data analysis, and be able to address common data issues like missing and extreme values. Develop statistical models to solve business problems, such as response, retention, pre-screen, reactivation, long-term value models. Present findings to non-technical audiences, translate business problems into statistical problems, and make connections between business problems and statistical solutions. Document modeling and analysis processes and results. Conduct applied research projects with a team or individually. Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication and skillful in interpersonal relationship development. Education: Master¿s degree in statistics, applied mathematics or other quantitative fields. Experiences: A minimum of 2-year experience with statistical modeling, data mining applied to direct marketing, market research, credit financing and / or other customer analytics and consumer insights. A minimum of 1-year experience with extracting and manipulating large datasets (multiple millions records). Hands-on experience in regression models, segmentation techniques, multivariate analysis, time series and/or design of experiment. Proficient in SAS. Desirable Qualifications: Experience in providing consultancy services to clients. Working experience in retail marketing, credit card or finance industry; marketing experience through retail store, catalog, email or online.
